t Railways Cut by

Japanese Bombers

HONG-KONG, OCTOBER 14.

The last link between Hong-Kong and Canton was severed to-day when Japanese bombers bombarded the Kowloon (Hong-Kong) -Canton railway, and blew up the telephone lines near the border of the Hong-Kong new terri- tory. With the river completely blocked, Canton is now cut off by sea and land from Hong-Kong.
